Horehound - 2 1/4" pot
(Marrubium vulgare). Horehound is a fuzzy, perennial member of the mint family that has little white flowers and has been traditionally used for coughs. It is part of a cough syrup we're planning to make ourselves this season, and you can find lots of recipes for horehound cough drops if you do a little searching. It's very bitter! Hence, the addition of honey or sugar in preparations to get coughing people to take it.
